Leaders learn well together

We enable leaders to collaborate so that they can share insights and ideas, experience new ways of leading and develop the confidence and determination to take these ideas back into the workplace to achieve great results.

Leaders learn best when dedicated time is set aside without distraction, when they can focus on their needs without being drawn to other priorities, when they are in the company of like-minded individuals they can converse with and when they can experience new way of leading in a stimulating, no risk environment.

The Trapeze way

We offer a range of Leadership Group Workshops all of which have a core learning framework but with the facility to tailor the specifics to your precise requirements so that all aspects of content and approach are aligned with your priorities.

This means you always get a design that is right for you – no padding, no irrelevancies, just a highly focused and pertinent development experience.

Customers tell us they want Group Learning at two levels:

  1. General Leadership Overview – to aid participants in embracing and experiencing the full range of leadership learning.
  2. Topic Specific – where one can drill down into key components of leadership and develop a richer understanding of what it is and how to apply it back at work.

We have responded to this need by designing Workshops that address both of these needs.

By applying our unique Leadership Pathways Framework ©, our Workshops offer a high quality learning agenda covering 6 Pathway elements:

Presence and Impact Empathy
Resilience Perspective
Foresight Order

These Pathways underpin the discussions, experiences and commitment to action over the duration of the Workshop. They are not substitutes for any Competency Model or Leadership Template you may be using in your business. The intention is to align the Framework to your existing development strategy so that there is a seamless and logical link that participants can embrace.

Level 1 Workshop: Leadership Overview

Over a 2 to 3 day period we engage your leaders in debate and experiential learning that ensures participants raise their awareness and ability to:

  • Work well with even the most challenging and demanding of colleagues.
  • Set clear direction and purpose for every leadership challenge.
  • Project greater confidence, impact and gravitas.
  • Show conviction and fortitude when faced with resistance or apathy.
  • Better manage the complexities of implementation and delivery.
  • Ensure leadership decisions are well-informed and properly communicated.

We work with you to tailor our core design so that it reflects your precise situation and requirements.

We invest time prior to the Workshop to prepare participants for the event by contacting each directly to introduce ourselves, explain the Workshop objectives, discuss their hopes and aims for the event and request that they complete some brief but critical pre-work to help them connect with the process early on.

Level 2 Workshops: Topic Specific

For leaders that have either gone through our Level 1 Workshop and want the opportunity to explore specific aspects in more depth or for those who simply want help in one or two key dimensions of leadership; our Level 2 offerings are the ideal solution.

Usually 1 to 1.5 day’s duration, the Workshops are deliberately designed around a 25-75 balance – 25% content, 75% practical working through current leader challenges that participants bring with them. Trapeze facilitates and gets amongst the action, helping to convert the up front content into tangible actions and plans to effect change and improvement back at work.

Currently, we offer Level 2 Workshops linked to the following leadership topics:

  • Creating and communicating Leader Purpose and Focus.

  • The power of Internal Networking.

  • Leadership and Process thinking.

  • The importance of Added Value Leadership.

  • Positive Leader Impressions.

  • Maximising Leader-Team effectiveness.

  • Leading in meetings.

  • Leading upwards.

  • Influencing and Leadership.

These Workshops are not about theorising or occupying valuable time on endless games and exercises. Of course there are moments of ‘light relief’ but the emphasis is totally on getting the critical messages across early in the process and then helping convert these into real and valuable outcomes that leaders are excited by and want to make happen.

As for Level 1, we would be delighted to discuss with you how we can shape the final design so that the core learning and experience is based on the true realities of your business circumstances.
